Fragrances of Ireland
We are a family owned boutique perfumery, founded in 1983 right here in Country Wicklow. We still operate from the same converted farmhouse office where, for over thirty years, we have been creating perfumes and toiletries inspired by the magic, beauty and nature of Ireland. You may know us by our signature collection – Inis the Energy of the Sea – which is sold in boutiques around the world.
In Kilmacanogue, where we are based, we grow lavender and some other scented plants which we use to make some of our ingredients. The beauty of these natural products also inspires us to create new products. In early July each year, we celebrate the arrival of the lavender flowers with a Lavender Harvest Party.
Some years ago we purchased about 140 beautiful acres at the top of the Little Sugarloaf Mountain above our Lavender Field which we aim to preserve in its natural state. Recently we have worked with our local authority to build a guided walking route to the top of the Mountain, so that hillwalkers can enjoy it with minimal environmental impact.
